Ribeiro, Donald J., of Somerville, July 29^th, 2016 at age 76. Loving father of Joanne Silva and her husband Gordon, Donna Ribeiro and her partner Wendy Smith and Joseph Ribeiro. Beloved brother of Nancy Penta and her husband Ronald, Shirley Desmond and her husband James, John Ribeiro and his wife Judith, and the late Phyllis Ribeiro. Also survived by grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Dorothy McCusker. Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge on Tuesday, August 2^nd, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:30 pm with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 7:30 pm. Donald was the past President of the Somerville City Club. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations in his memory be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143.
