Gladys Chaparro

September 8, 1967 - October 13, 2021

Gladys Chaparro, 54 years old of Weymouth, MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Gladys worked as a Medical Professional for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and her Latin Soul Cuisine would make your mouth water. Her hospitality made it so you didn’t want to leave her home. This love of making others happy through her food lead her to start her “Latin Soul” Catering Service.

Gladys was a hardworking woman of unfathomable strength. She was a fighter with a kind, warm and loving heart who got the job done, whatever it was. You could depend on her to show up whenever you needed her and she never came empty handed.

Gladys was a woman of many talents who had a deep love of plants and animals. She had a green thumb and loved tending to her multiple gardens where she produced a variety of fruits and vegetables. She was adventurous and loved the outdoors. She wanted to enjoy life’s free riches: sun, beach, and nature.

She is survived by her three children, Nemiah Brown Jr., Waleska Brown, and Desiree Brown. She is also survived by her wife Ada Torres and her bonus child Adrian, her mother, Francisca Ramirez, and her siblings, Peggy, Luz, Frances, Alex, Frank, Daniel, Mario, and her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A phenomenal woman Gladys was. All who were blessed to have known her, love her, and experience her will cherish the memories for eternity.
