To the entire Pereira family
I received a phone call yesterday from Fernando Sousa the assistant director of custodial services at Boston University. I had worked there for 15 years until I broke neck and had to retire. Jose, Fernando and I where all good friends. After meetings we would have we’d go to Jose’s office and we would be in tears laughing. We would text each other and had a lot of laughs.Even when I was forced to retire we would call and text each other,I talked to him just last week. My heart is broken as I’m sure yours Is. Fernando and Jose where my best friends at BU. I would attend the wake but I am living in Texas know. I will never forget Jose,he was a true friend. I pray he is know at peace and in Gods hands. My deepest sympathies to all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and his good friends. God Bless.

Jose was a very dear friend & always had a great sense of humor & would always help you if you needed help.
He was always someone you could look to & talk to about anything & would always keep it to himself. I know Jose will be a missed friend by me & lots of others. Jose will also be missed by everyone he dealt with at BU he was a true dedicated worker to all & always did what was needed no matter what!! I for one will never ever forget Jose & I will pray for him everyday! Jose was really a special person & friend too so many of us!!!
