Mula, Carmelo R., of Somerville, December 1, 2020 at age 96. 

Devoted husband of the late Mary B. (Roderick) Mula.  Loving father of Lisa Mula.  

Beloved brother of Barbara Miles and the late Pasquale Mula, James Mula, Anna Clow, Jeanette DeGrace and Alfonse Mula.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends.

Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Due to COVID-19 and Massachusetts Tracing Guidelines, the funeral home is limited to 32 people inside the funeral home. A mask must be worn at all times, over both the nose and mouth and social distancing guidelines should be observed. 

The funeral home and the family are asking those who plan to attend to please come in, maintain social distancing guidelines, pay your condolences and then exit to make it possible for others to do the same. 

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street in Cambridge. 

Those wishing to attend should meet just inside the main gate of the cemetery no later than 9:45 am. 

A mask must be worn at all times while in the cemetery and social distancing guidelines must be observed. 

Carmelo was a proud U.S. Army WWII Veteran who was the recipient of a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.  He was also a lifelong member of VFW Post # 529 of Somerville.

Our sincere sympathy and condolences to you, Lisa. Carmen was a great husband, father & friend. His gifts were many and he will live on in the memories of those privileged enough to know him.
