Conde, Dolores Deolinda (Bettencourt) of Arlington, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 26, 2020 at age 97. She was formerly of Cambridge and Graciosa, Acores, Portugal. She was the devoted wife of the late Claudino Correia Conde. Loving mother of Joseph B. Conde and Helio B. Conde. Beloved mother in law of Denise Conde, Alfredina Silva and the late Yvonne Conde. Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Richard, Christopher, Jason, Amie, Becky and Michele. Adored great-grandmother of Lily, Ava, Morgan, Christopher, Tristan, Jayden, Carina, Isabella and Lucas.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends, in Massachusetts, California and in Portugal. Mrs. Conde came to the United States form Angola in 1962 with her family and lived in Cambridge, and then Arlington for the past 55 years.  She loved to travel especially to Graciosa, Acores where she was born.  She loved to cook, (and you had to eat what she cooked) and spending time with her family.  She will be laid to rest with her husband Claudino back in her beautiful Graciosa.

I was sadden by the news that my tia my father's oldest sister passed away. But, I am full of happiness that her wish to have Graciisa be her final resting place is happening. May she rest in peace next to her husband and parents (my grandparents) and may she renited with her brother Manuel (my father) and her youngest sister Celeste. I was lucky to have spent some time with her in California, Massachusetts and my last visit With her in Graciosa. I know she will be missed by many. My condolences to my cousins Helio and Jose and all the rest of the family..
