SANTOS, Antonio Dos, of Woburn, passed away on April 28, 2020 at 78 years old. He was born in Vila Franca do Campo in the Island of Sao Miguel. He joined the Portuguese Army in 1963 and then started a job as a shoemaker. He came to America in 1967 where he joined his wife to start a new life. He began working at Tufts University as a custodian, which led him to start his own successful cleaning Company, First Class Cleaning.  He was the happiest surrounded by family and friends. He would often be found playing a game of cards, soccer, watching his favorite soccer team Sporting, or tending to his garden.

Antonio was the son of the late Manuel Santos Camelo and Maria Isabel (Parece) Camelo. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to the late Maria Santos. Loving father of Lisa Lee, Michelle Goes, Carol DaSilva and her husband Walter, David Santos and his wife Dorothy, Susan Gray and her husband Bruce, and Paul Santos and his wife Kelly. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Kathleen, Melissa, Daniel, Ashley, Devin, Isabel, Alexander, Sabrina, Braylon, Connor, Aaron, Haley, Logan and Paisley, whom he cherished greatly. As well as a great grandson Caius. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. As he would say “See you tomorrow morning”.

All Services Will Be Private.

Even though at this point and time it is nearly impossible to gather and mourn the loss of a loved one, it is still possible for families and friends to be supportive and compassionate. May we suggest you reach out by telephone, email, or perhaps mailing them a card or leaving your words of sympathy on the funeral home website?
