Alves and his wife Maria Margarida, Maria Isabel Viveiros and her husband Fernando, Jose M. Alves, Leonilde Soares and her husband Luis, Maria Belmira Pires and her husband Tony, Walter Alves and his wife Janet, Laura LeBlanc and her husband Joseph, Jorge M. Alves, Ricardo M. Alves and his wife Sharon, Luis M. Alves and his wife Fatima, Nuno M. Alves and his wife Alison. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 8:00 am. Funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge at 9:00 am. Visiting hours Friday, January 11, 2019 at the funeral home from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Interment will be at the Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, Cambridge MA 02139. Leonilde was volunteer for many years at C.O.P.A.
