Joseph Modica age -- 94
Of Winchester MA, formally of Newton and Cambridge MA, passed away on December 21, 2018.
Joe was predeceased by his mother and father, Ella and Joseph Modica of Arlington, his wife Myong Hi Kim, of Cambridge and his son Robert (Bobby) of Watertown, his sister Betty Caggiano of Arlington, his brother Anthony of Burlington and his sister-in-law Edna of Burlington.
He is survived by his brother Richard of NH and his wife Bonnie of NH as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Joe was a veteran of WWII, as well as a veteran of the Korean war.
Joe was employed by Raytheon and Arthur D. Little of Cambridge from which he retired. Joe was a free spirit and loved to travel the world in his early retirement years.
Services:
There are no calling hours. However, a graveside gathering will take place at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge at time and date to be decided as arrangements are still in progress. Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge MA, will be assisting the family with arrangements.
