DeMoura, Samuel J., of Hudson, Florida, March 18, 2018 at age 79, formerly of Reading, MA. Devoted husband of Jean T. DeMoura (Romasco). Loving father of Kenneth J. DeMoura, Keith A. DeMoura and his wife Nancy, Kevin J. DeMoura and his wife Colleen, Kris S. DeMoura and his wife Jennifer. Beloved brother of Maria Helena Carvalho and her husband Duarte, Maria Venilde Ribeiro and her husband Jose. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends. Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. There will be a final viewing at the First Baptist Church of Reading, 45 Woburn St., Reading, MA on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with a funeral service to immediately follow. Sam was a Master Mason and member of the Charity Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Cambridge Massachusetts for 50 years. In lieu of flowers, Sam’s family asks that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s mission to end Parkinson’s Disease in honor of Sam and the millions living with the disease worldwide.
