DeAbreu, of Woburn, Armando J., November 30, 2017 at age 84, formerly of Cambridge. Devoted husband of the late Olga (Soares) DeAbreu. Loving father of Nora Kenney and her husband Patrick, Armand DeAbreu Jr. and Valerie Ford and her significant other Manny Moreira. Beloved brother of Antonio DeAbreu and Avelino Abreu. Longtime companion of Leodora “Lee” Chaves and her children, Fatima, Anabella, Robert and Nancy. Armando was the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and step grandchildren. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 8:00 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge at 9:00 am. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Armando was very active with St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge for over 50 years. He was very proud to have been the President of the Holy Name Society and President of the Madeira Club.  He was also a proud member and supporter of the Portuguese American Club, Benfica Club and the Faialense Sports Club of Cambridge.  He spent many years working with Cambridge kids as a Coach and Manager with the Babe Ruth Baseball League of Cambridge.
