William Edson Dukeman Sr., 84, of North Easton, a retired mechanical engineer at Ames Safety Envelope in Somerville, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.  Born in Cambridge, Mr. Dukeman attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He lived in North Easton for 55 years.  A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Dukeman served in the Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #7 in Easton.  Mr. Dukeman was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Easton.  He loved spending time with all his grandchildren.   He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn (Baptista) Dukeman; six children, William E. Dukeman Jr., Gail Walker, Cheryl Dukeman, Arlene McCaul, Brian Dukeman, and Marion Houser; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  He was the father of the late Denise Dukeman, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2013. He was the brother of the late Lucy Costa and George, Frank, Joseph and Tom Dukeman.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main St., North Easton. Mr. Dukeman will be buried next to his daughter in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 97 Canton St., North Easton.  Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017, at the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St., South Easton.  Memorial donations may be made to benefit pancreatic cancer research in the Dukeman name to the Lustgarten Foundation, 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797 or at
